The construction work for Shree Prajawasti School, is now at the phase of completion.

1. Field visit by Project Coordinator (Swesta) 11th December, 2016 to 14th December, 2016 for the regular field visit of the construction site and payment of the workers in the site. She also distributed warm winter clothes to the new born babies’ mother and to children and women of the field as well to the students of Bhalayadada Primary School, Tanglinchowk, Gorkha. She also made the students of Shree Prajawasti Primary school to play the game of chocolate eating which the students enjoyed a lot.

2 Meeting with the Education Resource Person from the District Education Office, Gorkha and sharing about the project progress updates and futures plan of the additional work that Karunamaya Foundation Nepal thinking of doing in school.

3.Inspection of water resources by site engineer Ashish Dangal for taking the measurements for drinking water project which the engineers group from the solidarity trip going to make. Also, the water from the source was brought to Kathmandu for doing the test whether that water is usable to drink or not which result is yet to come which we will share to the engineer group of the solidarity trip once the report comes.

4. Karunamaya Foundation Nepal Secretary meeting with the members of Rotaract and local educational community of Kathmandu for the program of distribution of copies including Karunamaya Foundation logo at the cover page.

Construction Update: Till 22nd December the work of gabion wall on the office side block and the work of plyboard fitting in the office block and classroom block were completed. Till date following progress has been made at construction.

•  Completion of doors and windows fitting on office block and that of door fitting on classroom block.
•  Meeting with the construction worker for the finishing work of the first phase and its costing which contract will be made on the next field visit after fixing of the fixed amount to finish the work of the two blocks.
